Horticultural Therapy is a process that uses plants and horticultural activities to improve people's social, educational, psychological, and physical adjustments thereby improving their body, mind and spirit's. The center's mission is to provide horticultural therapy programs for senior citizens, youth at risk, and physically or mentally challenged community members.

Join Us at our Monthly Therapy Session

We are starting to offer monthly therapy sessions. As a member of The Growing Center you will be able to attend these sessions for no charge at your convienience (there is a $10.00 "donation" per session for non-members). You can attend them as often as you like.

Volunteers are the backbone of our success and are needed in many areas, from assisting in horticultural therapy sessions to greenhouse maintenance and office assistance, there is a place for anyone who would like to help as a volunteer.

The Growing Center is a nonprofit horticultural therapy program center. We provide horticulture therapy to all who come seeking the benefits of our programs regardless of their ability to pay. Our needs are many and as demand from the community increases so does the need for funding.

Funding is needed to maintain our buildings and improve our facilities. By nature some of our needs are ongoing and some are one time expenses. Donations are very much appreciated and are tax deductible.
