The Growing Center has developed ten acres into gardens. These will be offered to anyone in the community who would like to have a garden to grow vegetables for themselves. These could be individuals or groups such as scout troops or garden clubs or group homes. Our only requirement is you must give any surplus to a local food bank or others in need. We will have a garden planted just for food banks and will donate all produce from this garden.

The Growing Center is designing a healing garden that is wheelchair assessable and will be a pleasure for all to visit. There will be areas for meditation and reflection as well as areas for the visually impaired. There will be a butterfly and hummingbird garden, an herb garden, a please touch garden and a children's garden. We will have a pond with a waterfall and fish. This will be a place for everyone to enjoy and learn how nature is such a part of our very existence. For some our garden will be a healing landscape to observe, for others it will be a therapy garden to participate in, for all it will be a place of peace of mind.
